My Grandpa Robert Powell died in his sleep on a bitter, winter night during the year of I believe that you are supposed to love the life that God has given you because at any moment it can change dramatically right before your eyes and be changed for eternity.
No one knows the exact feeling of life being too short, but some people have an idea of what it feels like. My life just happened to change when I was about seven years old or eight years old and I was in Mrs. My Grandpa Robert Raymond Powell passed away the day that my class had a scientist come to our classroom to show us all these fun experiments.
One of them was an electricity globe that showed static electicity. My Grandpa Robert Powell, I believe, was too young to pass away, even though he was seventy — two years old.
That awful day my family — my mom, my dad, my brother, and I — had to drive to Nebraska in order to go to the funeral; and I remember that we all cried for the whole day. My brother, cousins, and I were asked to walk behind his casket and that was one of the things that first made me think life ended too soon.
His passing away has a never ending, dreadful feeling to it. Why do people constantly take the things they have for granted? Each and every person should have an experience that is so life changing so they can be aware of what I am trying to say.
